Commercial Kitchen Circuits
Every piece of commercial cooking equipment has dedicated circuit requirements. Commercial ranges, ovens, fryers, steamers, and griddles are typically three-phase 208V or 240V equipment. Walk-in coolers and freezers require dedicated circuits sized for the compressor load. Dishwashers, steam kettles, and hot holding equipment each require their own circuit. We wire commercial kitchens with the correct circuit for each piece of equipment — not shared circuits that will trip under load.
Hood Ventilation Electrical
Commercial hood ventilation systems require dedicated circuits for the exhaust fan motor, makeup air unit, and hood lighting. In many Arlington TX restaurants, the hood ventilation circuit also connects to a fire suppression system interlock that cuts power to the cooking equipment when the suppression system activates. We wire the hood electrical correctly and coordinate with the hood and fire suppression contractors.
Three-Phase Power for Restaurant Equipment
Most heavy commercial cooking equipment is three-phase. If your restaurant space does not have three-phase service, we assess availability from Oncor at your specific address before you commit to equipment purchases. Adding three-phase service requires Oncor coordination and can take four to eight weeks if a transformer upgrade is needed. This is critical information to have before you sign a lease on a space that currently has only single-phase service.
POS, Register, and Technology Circuits
Every POS terminal, register station, and kitchen display system needs a dedicated or shared circuit that is protected from the noise and surges that commercial kitchen equipment creates. We install isolated ground circuits for POS systems in restaurant build-outs throughout Arlington TX.
Exterior Sign and Patio Lighting
Restaurant exterior signage, LED sign power, covered patio lighting, and outdoor dining area wiring are all part of the restaurant electrical scope. All exterior restaurant wiring uses weatherproof conduit and wet-rated or damp-rated fixtures appropriate for Texas weather conditions.
